Character Profiles: Supporting Cast

Name: Pete Hornberger
Portrayed by: Scott Adsit
Occupation: Producer of TGS
Family: Wife-Paula
Children-Kyle, Caleb, Robert, and Jack

Likes: Pete enjoys teasing Liz about past relationships. He also likes his job as producer of TGS. Along with the rest of the male employees, he truly enjoys how Cerie dresses!

Dislikes: He was in the same boat as the rest of the cast when Tracy came along: he was not thrilled. Now it has become his job to make sure Tracy is not running amuck in New York City. Liz also points out that “Pete thinks everyone is an idiot…especially Frank” So we can only guess who else he dislikes.

Personal Life: Pete has known Liz Lemon for about ten years and often acts as her rock and confidant. She returns the favor, specifically when she gives Pete a key to her apartment after his wife becomes suspicious of the validity of his vasectomy. Although he love his wife and remains faithful to her, it is difficult for Pete to stay happy in his marriage. Since his wife became pregnant very soon after they were married in a botanical garden, they have had very little time to spend together because of their four kids. Even though Pete is afraid of his children, one can still tell he enjoys being a father. He has a dead on Elmo impression and once took his kids to the Russian Cat Circus.

Name: Frank Rossitano
Portrayed By: Judah Friedlander
Occupation: Staff Writer for TGS
Family: Racist Grandfather, Mother whom he lives with.

Likes: Frank was the only person when Liz announced that Tracy Jordan was joining the show who was excited for the arrival of the star. He enjoys Tracy’s movies and music video and is seemingly the only one. Also, he and James “Toofer” Spurlock really take pleasure in playing pranks on TGS female lead, Jenna Maroney. Internet videos (especially the one of a monkey smelling its butt) also tickle his fancy.

Dislikes: According to Frank, he always chooses Jenna to kill in the “Marry-Boff-Kill” game because she has never done a genuine thing in his presence. Although they made up after Jenna “pooted”, it was never specified if he is fonder of her now than before.

Personal Life: At first glance, Frank seems like a childish and lazy ragamuffin. But he is very quick witted and has an awesome sense for vintage style. His array of trucker hats and oversized glasses make him appear lackadaisical, but he is the most prominently featured writer with the most ideas for the show. All in all, Frank remains an enigma. Although we do know that in his romantic life, Frank would like his woman to look like she’s in an “adult film”.

Name: Cerie
Portrayed By: Katrina Bowden
Occupation: Writers’ Assistant
Family: Mother and Four Cousins from Holland,
Fiancée named Aris

Likes: As a young and attractive girl, Cerie enjoys dressing provocatively and lounging around the writer’s room as an object of lust for the male writers and staff members. She sometimes enjoys her job and actually follows the directions that are given to her.

Dislikes: Trying to plan a wedding is difficult, especially when you disagree with the Greek Orthodox Church’s stance on Cyprus…in Cerie’s case anyway.

Personal Life: The ultimate goal in life for this beauty is to marry young and design handbags. She is getting there with her engagement to Aris, who she knew for a month and a week when he proposed. I hope he drinks Snapple, since Cerie would never dare date someone who does not drink Snapple. They both agree that they want to have kids while it is still cool; so Cerie can be a hot young mom. Baby names won’t be an issue, she already has them planned. Bookcase and Sandstorm for a girl and Hat for a boy. How cute!

Name: Josh Girard
Portrayed By: Lonny Ross
Occupation: Actor/Impressionist on TGS

Likes: Josh is a pretty easy going guy who spends his days goofing off in the writer’s room and dedicating his time to playing “Marry-Boff-Kill” and staring at a scantily clad Cerie. NBC Store chicken noodle soup has been known to cheer him up after a cold or the flu.

Dislikes: Since Frank blatantly states that Josh “really sucks” at Marco-Polo, one can only assume that Josh is not or ever has been a very athletic person. Really, who likes getting things thrown at them with a paper bag on their head?

Personal Life: Josh was the male lead of TGS before Tracy came along, and seemed upset to begin with, but is now complacent with being one of the three stars. Liz Lemon discovered Josh while he was opening for a puppet. Some people see him as juvenile and child-like, but he did manage to use some smarts while negotiating is contract with Jack Donaghy. It backfired of course, but it still took guts. We also know that if he could, he would do inappropriate things with Elizabeth Taylor. Other than that, we have not seen a romantic interest for him, apart from his occasional 'rough-housing' with Lance Bass from N Sync.
